The co-sanctioned Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open is an integral part of the golfing calendar, sitting on both the Ladies European Tour and the LPGA.

First staged in 1986, the ASI Ladies Scottish Open is played with a full 156-strong player field, has a prize fund of US$1.5m and is played on the same course as the men’s Scottish Open. The event underlines Scotland’s commitment to growing women’s golf and also draws on the strong support of title sponsor Aberdeen Standard Investments across all levels of the game.

In 2019, the ASI Ladies Scottish Open was played at The Renaissance Club and was won by South Korea’s Mi Jung Hur who claimed her third LPGA Tour title with a brilliant final round. She was presented with the trophy by Aberdeen Standard Investments’ CFO, Stephanie Bruce.

Previous winners include Ariya Jutanugarn, Mi Hyang Lee, Isabelle Boineau, Rebecca Artis, Trish Johnson as well as Scotland’s Carly Booth and Catriona Matthew who is a double winner.

In 2020, the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open returns to The Renaissance Club for a second successive season and will be played between 13-16 August. Due to the ongoing impact of the global Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 edition will be played behind closed doors and we won’t unfortunately be able to accommodate spectators on-site. There will be a number of innovations introduced to help fans support their favourite LET & LPGA players, make sure you subscribe to our email database to hear more!
